Sales Policy

1. About Our Products

  • All Japanese swords (katana) exported by our company are authentic, genuine pieces with recognized cultural and artistic value.

  • In Japan, a strict registration system ensures that swords with blades cannot be counterfeits, as such items cannot be registered. Therefore, counterfeit Japanese swords cannot be exported from Japan.

  • Japanese swords are highly regarded worldwide as cultural heritage and artistic treasures symbolizing Japan’s history and traditions. Each sword has unique aesthetic value, and we provide detailed descriptions (length, weight, materials, production period, swordsmith's name, blade condition, etc.) along with photos and videos for thorough inspection.

  • Please carefully review the product details before making a purchase. Claims regarding the product's condition will not be accepted after purchase.

2. Countries We Sell To

  • Due to legal restrictions, we may be unable to sell to certain countries. Please check your local import regulations before placing an order.

  • While Japanese swords are regulated as weapons in Japan, they are eligible for export after deregistration as cultural and artistic items, following Japanese laws. This ensures safe and legal delivery to our customers.

  • If permits or registration documents are required for importation, it is the customer’s responsibility to complete those processes.

  • All risks and responsibilities related to customs clearance rest with the purchaser.

3. Returns and Exchanges

  • Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges after purchase. This policy ensures the preservation of the cultural and artistic value of the Japanese swords.

  • In some countries, customs procedures or import regulations may prevent the item from reaching the customer. In such cases, refunds are not available. Please thoroughly review all product details and contact us with any questions before purchasing.

4. Shipping and Insurance

  • We use appropriate packaging materials and reliable international shipping companies to ensure the safe delivery of Japanese swords.

  • All items are insured against damage during transit. If any damage is discovered upon delivery, please contact the shipping company and our team immediately.

  • We assist with insurance claims, but coverage is limited to damages incurred during transit. Other types of damages or issues are not covered.

  • We cannot assume responsibility beyond the insurance coverage for losses or major damages occurring during transit.

5. Customs and Taxes

  • Any customs duties or taxes associated with international shipping are the responsibility of the customer. Please check the relevant regulations and rates for your country.

  • If additional fees arise, such as customs duties or taxes, these must be paid by the customer.

6. Privacy Policy

  • We handle customers’ personal information appropriately and do not share it with third parties. Information provided during the order process is used only for shipping and customer service purposes.

7. Legal Compliance

  • Our company adheres to the laws and regulations of both Japan and the customer’s country of residence. If export or import regulations change, transactions may be temporarily suspended.

  • While we strive for accurate product descriptions and efficient delivery, we are not responsible for delays or damages caused by accidents during transit or other force majeure events.

8. Post-Transaction Responsibility

  • Once the product is delivered to the customer, our responsibility ends. All further management and handling of the item rest with the purchaser.

9. Customer Support

  • For pre-purchase inquiries or post-purchase support, please contact us via email or through the contact form on our website.

  • If you have questions about our products or need assistance during the purchasing process, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
