This Sword's Background
Kanefusa was a blacksmith who lived in Minoseki from the mid-Muromachi period. This piece is the work of the 23rd Kanefusa (1899-1977), and was produced before the start of World War II in 1939. Later, this piece was returned to Japan from the war.

This sword was made about 42 years ago. it is in very clean condition. Therefore, this sword is in the category of new swords. During that time, there have been no wars and it has never been used.
