This Sword's Background
Yamato Ojyu Fujiwara Masanori was a swordsmith active during the Keicho period (1596-1605), which was known as the Keicho Shintachi.
This sword is believed to be a Japanese sword from that period, and was combined with a Japanese sword that was lying dormant when he participated in World War II in a naval arrangement of the time.
It is in very clean condition for a Japanese sword returned from the war.
It also comes with a wood scabbard, so when not in use, it can be rested in the wood scabbard to keep it in better condition.
