This Sword's Background
 
Kanefusa was a blacksmith who lived in Minoseki from the mid-Muromachi period. This piece is the work of the 23rd Kanefusa (1899-1977), and was produced before the start of World War II in 1939. Later, this piece was returned to Japan from the war.　
 
Description
 
There are minor scratches on the blade, a small chip around the tip of the blade, and small scratches and peeling on the scabbard, but the sword is locked, there is little rust, the handle is in good condition, nd the sword is clean for a sword that went to war.We have photographed it as carefully as possible, but if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
